About the Role:
CBRE is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to support a leading healthcare system at a large acute care hospital in Mechanicsville, VA. This onsite role provides day-to-day oversight of facility operations within a three-story, 350,000 square foot healthcare environment. Working closely with the Engineering team, you will help ensure building systems, preventive maintenance programs, corrective repairs, and vendor activities are executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to hospital operations.
This is a Monday through Friday onsite position with opportunities for overtime. No travel is required.
What You'll Do
Oversee daily facilities operations, preventive maintenance activities, and repair work across a 350,000 sq. ft. hospital campus.
Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and support the Engineering team in maintaining critical building systems.
Schedule, manage, and monitor third-party vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Serve as a key point of contact for escalations related to facility services, repairs, and operational issues.
Review work order data, maintenance metrics, and service reports to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
Assist with building automation system monitoring and coordination using Metasys.
Track facility expenses and support cost-effective maintenance and vendor management practices.
Promote a strong safety culture while delivering excellent service in a healthcare environment. What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of facilities, maintenance, building operations, or related experience.
Previous supervisory, lead, or shift management experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience supporting commercial building systems.
HVAC experience strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities, repairs, preventative maintenance programs, and external vendors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, leadership, and client stakeholders.
Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities environments is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Supervisor position is $75,000 annually [or $36.06 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Supervisor position is $85,000 annually [or $40.87 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
