GT Landscape Solutions is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, landscape equipment, and heavy machinery. If you take pride in diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently, we'd like to meet you.
This is a full-time position with a stable, growing company that values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and scheduled services on company vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and repair gas and diesel fleet vehicles, including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and driveline components
- Service and repair landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other small engines
- Maintain and repair tractors, skid steers, excavators, ride-on equipment, and trailers
- Perform light fabrication and welding as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain service records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop
- Help minimize equipment downtime through proactive maintenance
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of professional automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair experience
- Experience maintaining fleet vehicles and commercial equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Light welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must own a complete technician's roll-around toolbox and hand tools
- ASE certifications or equivalent experience are preferred but not required

Schedule
- Full-time
