Overview
We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. This role involves troubleshooting irrigation issues, ensuring water efficiency, and working directly with customers to provide the best solutions for their needs.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to build and modify irrigation setups as needed.
- Inspect systems for leaks, clogs, or inefficiencies and make necessary adjustments.
- Dig trenches for pipe installation and repair, ensuring proper placement and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system adjustments.
Requirements
- Experience in irrigation installation and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with artesian wells, pumps, and water pressure systems is preferred.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
- Physical ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License needed.
