Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of complex, high reliability infrastructure projects. This position will play a key role in the engineering and design of large scale industrial and mission critical facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and technically sound solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design medium and low voltage power distribution systems for complex facilities and industrial environments
- Develop electrical designs including power distribution, backup power systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage infrastructure
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, specifications, and construction drawing packages
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of project execution
- Perform design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Support facility modernization, expansion, and infrastructure upgrade projects
- Participate in project planning activities including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality management
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to resolve design challenges and support successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 6 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial, commercial, or mission critical facilities
- Experience with medium voltage and low voltage power distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical building systems and campus style utility distribution networks
- Working knowledge of Revit, BIM platforms, or similar design software
- Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards, including NEC
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects
- Background supporting large scale infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, or mission critical facility projects preferred
- Experience with greenfield facility development and major capital projects preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast paced engineering environment
- Self motivated, detail oriented, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth
