LOCATION: Calhoun Middle/High School
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2026-2027 Term
SALARY: Annual Supplement: $750
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of various components of a music program such as field shows, arrangement, instrumentation, leadership, instruction, etc.

Experience with music instruction.

Participation in musical organizations
-
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others

Ability to coordinate community resources
-
Coordinate, supervise, lead, instruct and perform other duties necessary for the implementation of a successful instrumental music program.
DUTIES:
-
Attend all Band Booster meetings
-
Attend all performances and band events
-
Submit all requisitions to the Band Director for approval prior to Band Booster meetings

Support the Band Director with organizational and instructional needs as assigned

Coordinate rehearsal schedules with the Band Director and organize additional color guard rehearsals as needed
-
Recruit students and coordinate color guard auditions and placement
-
Maintain accurate records and organization of color guard equipment, and uniforms
-
Assist with choreography, performance preparation, and skill development for the color guard
-
Promote the overall success and positive culture of the band and performing arts program
-
Foster positive relationships among students, staff, and parents.

Model and promote professional habits, responsibility, and positive conduct among students
