We are currently seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role provides athletic training services for college athletics, high school athletics, and youth sports events throughout the Sacramento area.
Weekly hours may vary based on client and event coverage needs, with opportunities for additional hours during busier seasons. We offer flexible scheduling and work with our Athletic Trainers’ availability when coordinating coverage.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality athletic training services across multiple sports programs.
- Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and parents to ensure safety, performance, and effective injury care.
- Cover practices, games, and events—including some weekends with predetermined scheduling.

What We’re Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program (or Bachelor’s if completed before 2022).
- Certification: Current BOC certification, plus valid CPR, AED, and First Aid from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Expertise in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
- Proficiency in injury tracking and reporting (MS Word & Excel).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with taping, modalities, and exercise programming.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Mindset: A collaborative team player with a passion for athletic training and delivering exceptional care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
