Duties:
Below is a general description of duties, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
ENTRY LEVEL
- $16.50 - $17.50 /hr. General Labor
- $18.00 - $19.50 /hr. Maintenance Technician I
Maintains property grounds and appearance. Clean out units in preparation for occupancy. Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, touch up paint, etc. with supervision.
MID LEVEL
- $19.50 - $22.00 Maintenance Technician II
Performs general repairs to apartments such as patching & painting drywall, changing locks, repair or adjust entry doors, replacing fixtures and light plumbing of sinks & drains with some supervision. Perform snow removal, blowing, shoveling, salting, & plowing and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
ADVANCED LEVEL
- $22.00 - $26.00 Maintenance Technician III
Skilled technician with strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Refurbish vacancies hanging & patching drywall, hanging cabinetry, and ability to diagnose &/or repair appliances. Perform snow removal, blowing, shoveling, salting, & plowing and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Pay commensurate with prior experience and skill level
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 /yr. minimum experience in maintenance, handyman, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of tools, equipment, & common maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of property upkeep & repairs, electrical, plumbing, & HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license & clean driving records to operate Company vehicles.
- Personal smart phone for time tracking purposes.
- Physically fit condition with ability to lift, carry, stand, and perform manual labor duties.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
