Job Summary
At BQ Grills we manufacture high-end out barbeque equipment that ranges from home use to commercial use. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing materials, applying industrial, automotive paint, and finishing out the final product. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless production of high-quality products, ensuring safety, precision, and productivity at every step. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the trade within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools
- Apply industrial and construction-grade paint using airless paint spraying equipment or auto painting techniques to achieve smooth finishes
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring materials accurately with precision measuring instruments and perform quality checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles
- Wiring trailer taillights
- Assembling gas valves and gas lines that have to be leak-tested and approved.
Experience
- Familiarity with industrial painting techniques including airless spray systems and auto painting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes is beneficial
- Warehouse experience combined with knowledge of lean manufacturing practices will support your success in maintaining efficient workflows
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments are essential
