Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Paver Installers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality pavers and hardscape features across various outdoor projects, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your skills in building material installation and outdoor work.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by grading, excavating, and setting forms to ensure proper foundation for paver installation
- Lay pavers with precision according to detailed construction plans and schematics, ensuring alignment and levelness
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient installation processes
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute complex hardscape designs accurately
- Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, sealing, and joint filling to enhance durability and appearance
- Collaborate with team members on site to coordinate tasks like masonry, concrete forming, and roofing as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering strictly to safety protocols
Qualifications
- TRANSPORTATION **
- Monday- Friday 8am to 4pm
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to paving projects
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans for outdoor projects
- Familiarity with building materials such as concrete, stucco, glass, tile, and other related components
- Experience with construction inspection practices and adherence to safety protocols on active sites
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to landscaping and hardscape layouts
- Strong outdoor work experience with the physical stamina required for demanding environments
- Lift 50+ pounds
- Work in the sun
Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review, experience in construction management or estimating, plumbing or electrical background relevant to integrated project scopes, window or door installation knowledge, and skills in fabrication or restoration work. Candidates with a background in carpentry—including trim carpentry—and experience operating various types of scaffolding or scaffolding systems are highly valued.
