Position Summary
The nCino Administrator serves as a business-process-first platform resource, combining deep understanding of banking and lending workflows with strong technical and configuration skills. This role is responsible for driving platform adoption, managing change, maintaining data integrity, supporting users, and continuously improving how the bank leverages nCino to operate efficiently and scale.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the nCino platform and underlying Salesforce environment.
- Perform day‑to‑day administration including user setup, roles, profiles, security settings, and access controls.
- Manage core nCino configurations supporting the loan lifecycle, including collateral, construction budgets, line items, credit memos, and forms.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce and nCino features such as:
- Validation rules, workflow rules, approval processes
- User interface field additions and updates
- Translate lending and operational requirements into scalable, well‑governed platform configurations
- Define, communicate, and manage a formal change management and release process.
- Promote changes across environments (sandbox to production) using tools such as Change Sets and Apex Data Loader.
- Act as the bank’s central point of coordination for nCino upgrades and new functionality.
- Monitor daily integration jobs and resolve issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
- Support integrations between nCino and other enterprise banking systems.
- Audit, identify, and resolve data integrity and data quality issues.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and enhance custom reports and dashboards for lending, operations, and management
- Support users with report creation and ongoing analytics needs
- Use reporting insights to improve process efficiency, data accuracy, and decision‑making
- Provide front‑line support to nCino users across the organization.
- Diagnose and resolve user issues while maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor user adoption and proactively address gaps through training, communication, or configuration changes.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and documentation.
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing users.
- Identify opportunities to expand or optimize nCino usage.
- Recommend best practices based on direct engagement with end users.
- Minimum 3 years of experience administering nCino in banking or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial and/or consumer lending processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce configuration, including users, security, workflows, and validation rules.
- Experience with reports, dashboards, and data management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
