Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams with installation or upgrades of equipment and systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to ensure safety and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for various equipment types.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and construction projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for diagnostics and repairs.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to document work performed clearly and effectively. Nice-to-have skills include experience with air conditioning systems beyond basic repair, HVAC certifications or licenses, familiarity with electrical systems related to HVAC/R equipment, appliance repair expertise, construction background for installations or upgrades, and previous leadership roles in maintenance settings. Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
