Locals is a 100% Gluten Free Restaurant located in the heart of Provo.

Pay and Hours
Locals will be switching to 7 days a week of operation. Currently open 8:00am to 3:00pm. Hours will soon extended to 8:00am to 8:00pm. The hours available would vary depend on your own availability balanced with the needs of the store.
The Pay ranges from $14-16 per hour, with tips added. The current average tips amount is an additional $4.05 per hour.
<Duties>
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, following safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as square POS and QU POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety and sanitation protocols are followed
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
- Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies, managing food prep stations, and adhering to health regulations
- Hire and train crew
- Prepare and execute the weekly scheduling
- Maintain inventory
- Regulate Food costs and Labor costs
<Skills>
- Experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant environments, or similar food industry roles
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that encourages repeat visits
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Previous restaurant experience or retail experience is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience is highly valued
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lead a team each shift
