PDQ is hiring an experienced full-time plumber to perform residential and light-commercial service, repair, and installation work throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson area.
Applicants must have at least four years of verifiable plumbing experience that qualifies them to apply for the applicable Nevada contractor license. The selected employee must be willing and able to complete the Nevada licensing application process and pass the required contractor examinations.
This is a full-time field technician position. The employee will continue performing plumbing service work after completing the licensing process.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems
- Complete plumbing repairs and installations independently
- Repair and replace water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, valves, supply piping, drain piping, and related equipment
- Identify required materials and accurately document job scope
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Complete photographs, notes, invoices, and job documentation
- Follow company safety, workmanship, and customer-service standards
- Maintain an organized company vehicle and assigned equipment
- Complete the Nevada contractor licensing and examination process as required
Minimum Requirements
- At least four years of verifiable plumbing experience
- Experience sufficient to qualify for the applicable Nevada contractor examination and license
- Ability and willingness to pass the required Nevada contractor examinations
- Ability to independently diagnose and complete plumbing service work
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Professional appearance and communication
- Reliable attendance and availability for full-time work
- Ability to provide employment records and references verifying plumbing experience
- Ability to pass applicable background and employment screening
- Familiarity with Nevada and Clark County plumbing requirements
Compensation and Benefits
