Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers. Ability to work late nights, the restaurant closes 3am during weekends. (!)
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations when necessary to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers.
