Classic Machining is expanding and looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality precision parts. What You'll Do
As a CNC Machinist, you'll play an important role in delivering quality products and helping our team meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
- Determining efficient machining methods and production sequences
- Performing first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Maintaining quality standards and tight tolerances
- Troubleshooting machining issues and recommending process improvements
- Collaborating with production and quality teams to improve efficiency and performance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Assisting with priority jobs and overtime when needed to meet customer commitments
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience with machine setup and programming
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Experience using precision inspection equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
