Salary Range: $34.00 - $36.00
Job Description: Leading Midwest commercial and publication printer in southern IL is busy. Due to client demand the company is hiring an experienced Sheetfed Offset Press Operator for day shift. Responsibilities include: Read and interpret job orders. Assist Lead Press Operator on 40" sheetfed offset press make readies. Monitor print quality throughout the press runs. Maintain ink and water balance. Record paper and ink usage for all jobs. Maintain clean, safe work environment. Weekly press upkeeping. Qualifications include: Minimum 3- 5 years experience operating sheetfed offset presses; Man Roland, KBA, Heidelberg, Komori experience preferred. Will consider operators with 2nd Pressmen experience. Good eye for color and registration. Mechanically inclined. Able to work day shift; 7am - 3:30 pm.
