As part of a dedicated special education team, you’ll play a vital role in fostering growth and ensuring each learner receives the tailored instruction and support they deserve. Three SPED professionals are needed for this rewarding Extended School Year program.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with a varied caseload
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to adapt instruction and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with fellow educators, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans based on student IEP goals
- Track and document student progress, maintaining organized records
- Collaborate with other special education staff, related service providers, and administration
- Foster positive relationships and communicate effectively with students and their families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program success
