Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of families and individuals with developmental disabilities? We’re seeking highly motivated Support Living (DSP) Trainers to join our dedicated team!
As a Parenting Educator, you will work one-on-one in the field, teaching and supporting parents to strengthen their skills, improve family dynamics, and build confidence for lifelong success.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide personalized, hands-on training to parent who is dual diagnosed.
- Act independently while collaborating with all supportive team members.
- Follow and implement supported living program directives with creativity and care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Use sound judgment, strong reasoning, crisis prevention and intervention skills, positive behavior support, and problem-solving skills daily.
- Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with consumers, families, and colleagues.
- Utilize organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Connect families to valuable community resources.

- Knowledge of basic technology (Word, internet) and comfort with record-keeping.

Requirements:
- Current TB test
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance (minimum liability suggested: $100,000)
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
