Position Overview
We’re looking for a full-time & part-time Baristas who are passionate about great drinks, good vibes, and connecting with people. You’ll craft delicious matcha creations, bring positive energy to every shift, and help keep the café running smoothly. Experience is always a plus, but what matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love for making people’s day. We’ll provide all the training you need to shine behind the bar!
Barista
As a barista at Cha Cha Matcha you are passionate about Tea, coffee and food! You are passionate about making exceptional products for our guests. You will build and maintain strong relationships with guests by always giving excellent customer service. You are obsessed with learning and taking action. You are reliable, open to new ideas, constant change, and a dynamic work environment!
Physical requirements
- Prepare drinks ensuring recipes are being followed.
- Monitor and restock ingredients, and packaging materials as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including the bar, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure all Tasks and prep assignments are completed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
Customer Interaction
- Greet customers warmly, assist them in choosing beverages, and provide detailed descriptions of drink options.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a positive customer experience. Know when to get a shift lead/Gm when help is needed.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other team members to maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on drink preparation and service procedures.
Adherence to Brand Standards- You will Uphold Cha Cha Matchas brand image by adhering to company guidelines and providing consistent customer service. You will Participate in promotional activities and contribute to a welcoming and vibrant store atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Café or barista experience is a plus
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A positive attitude and genuine love for great customer experiences
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Availability for mornings, weekends, and flexible hours
