**EXPERIENCED DRIVERS ONLY APPLY**
Diamond State Meats is looking to fill the following position :
1st shift: Delivery Drivers (7am-3pm)
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages using manual or powered equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 80 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
