CK Composites was established in the 1950’s and is located in Mount Pleasant, PA approximately 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. CK is a manufacturer of mission-critical components used in a variety of industries including Electrical, Defense, Medical, and Transportation. The organization engineers and manufactures custom composite solutions from a variety of proprietary resin formulations, fiberglass reinforced plastic, and densified laminated wood.
Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have basic electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with machinery. This role is responsible for maintaining facility, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation.
Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing facility, equipment, and machinery
· Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
· Repair or replace defective machine components
· Conduct preventative maintenance according to schedule
· Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
· Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
· Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
· Basic electrical skills (wiring, motors, control panels, troubleshooting)
· Knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
· Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Physical demands include the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, and work in manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery
