Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This Driver will be primarily responsible for transporting heavy equipment to various jobsites. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including tractor/ low bed, tractor/ dump trailer and occasional triaxle dump trucks.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive different types of trucks including low-bed trailers, dump trailers, and dump trucks.
- Safely load and unload equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate trucking logs
- Communicate directly with fleet manager
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A).
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Experience with loading and unloading construction equipment
- Experience driving low-bed trucks
- Experience driving dump trailers
*Must pass a drug test and have DOT medical card*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $78.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
