Position: Full-Time Cocktail Garden Team Member
Location: Claverack, NY (Multiple Locations)
Pay: $17.00/hour+ $2 commission per bottle
Average hourly earnings: $23–$26 including tips and commission

Cooper’s Daughter Spirits is a family-owned and operated farm distillery with a passionate team of 16—and we’re growing. We’re seeking a full-time Cocktail Garden Team Member to join us at our Claverack and Red Hook locations. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, customer-focused, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

- Comfortable checking IDs and serving alcohol responsibly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Organized and confident working independently and as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, provide exceptional customer service, and share our story
- Deep cleaning and general upkeep of the tasting room, distillery, farm stand, and bed & breakfast
- Operate our point-of-sale system (Square) efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive displays by keeping the shop meticulously clean, well stocked, and visually welcoming with attention to details.
- Promote upselling by recommending complementary products or seasonal specialties to maximize sales opportunities
- Be comfortable and confident in checking IDs so customers can try our spirits and purchase bottles to go.
- Providing guided tastings with knowledgeable, engaging product explanations
- Preparing for markets and festivals, including loading/unloading vehicles with supplies and cases
- Labeling and light production support as needed
- Selling and marketing farm-made spirits at farmers' markets and artisan fairs around the Hudson Valley, typically in a company vehicle
Compensation
- Hourly pay plus tips and commission at the tasting room
- Hourly pay plus commission at festivals and the Farm and Bottle Shop
