- Classroom aide ($21.15/hour): The classroom aide plays a vital role in supporting the instructional needs of the classroom. As a classroom aide, you will work closely with teachers and students to ensure a productive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including providing individualized and small group support to students, both academically and behaviorally, as directed by the teacher; assisting students with assignments, projects, and activities to reinforce their learning and promote their progress; and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere by promoting respectful interactions among students.
- 1:1 aide ($22.46/hour): The role of a 1:1 aide is to provide individualized support and assistance to a specific student within an educational setting. As a 1:1 aide, you will work closely with a student requiring extra support to ensure their academic and social success. Your primary responsibility is to facilitate the student's learning To foster a culture of EXCELLENCE for ALL CRESSKILL PUBLIC SCHOOLS 15 Brookside Avenue Cresskill, NJ 07626 by supporting the student in understanding and completing academic assignments and tasks; adapting instructional materials and activities to meet the student's individual needs and learning goals; and implementing behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Step by step aide ($26.43/hour): As a Step by Step (SBS) aide, you will work in collaboration with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the classroom teacher to assist students with autism or other developmental disabilities. Your role as an ABA aide is to provide direct support to the student, facilitate skill development, and assist in behavior management and data collection. ABA training will be provided by the district.
