Metal Fabricator / Welder
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified metal Fabricator to join our team. This is a top-tier role for a proven professional with 7 to 10 years of experience and a strong background in aluminum and steel welding, as well as fabrication. Consideration for this opportunity will require a bench test using this materials.
We are an industry leader known for producing specialized commercial vehicles that are built to last. We join new pre-built commercial truck chassis to a variety of specialized body types for the industries we serve. As a dealership we customize these vehicles to fit our customers’ needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7–10 years of professional welding fabricator, experience (required)
- Welding certification (required)
- Strong experience in welding both aluminum and steel
- Skilled fabricator with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Capable of working independently and leading by example in a production environment
- Capable of reading and perform job orders, specifications, schematics, blueprints, and layouts.
- Must have a strong background with fabrication equipment and ability to operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts.
- Creative fabricating and problem solving. Lets face it, not all engineering specifications apply to real world application. Selected candidate will enjoy overcoming obstacle during the installation.
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs.
- Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.
- Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- This is a 5 x 9 shift Monday – Friday 7AM – 4PM.
