Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with team members during busy hours, including catering or banquet events when needed.
- Assist in bar management tasks such as scheduling, training new staff, and maintaining a lively yet professional environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume settings; prior banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
- Experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or retail environments is highly desirable.
