MOMOKITTY is a new character-driven lifestyle retail brand launching its first U.S. store. Our stores offer a curated mix of IP-character merchandise, plush, accessories, stationery, and everyday lifestyle goods that spark joy. We are preparing to open our debut location at Westfield Mall in San Jose, California, and we are looking for a driven Store Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base: $5,860 / month+ 2% Monthly Sales Commission

What You Will Do
● Lead store launch and setup: Oversee pre-opening preparations, merchandise display, inventory organization, and staff onboarding to ensure a successful debut at Westfield Mall.
● Drive daily operations: Manage opening/closing procedures, scheduling, cash handling, POS transactions, and compliance with mall and brand standards.
● Build and coach the team: Recruit, train, and supervise approximately 7 store associates; foster a customer-focused, energetic, and accountable team culture.
● Deliver exceptional customer experience: Engage shoppers, resolve issues, and ensure every visitor experiences the fun, welcoming spirit of MOMOKITTY.
● Hit sales targets: Monitor daily and weekly sales KPIs, motivate the team to upsell and cross-sell, and take ownership of store revenue performance.
● Maintain visual merchandising: Keep the store clean, attractive, and on-brand; rotate displays to highlight new arrivals, seasonal collections, and character-IP products.
● Manage inventory & loss prevention: Coordinate stock counts, replenishment, and shrinkage control in partnership with regional operations.
● Communicate with leadership: Report sales performance, operational challenges, and customer feedback to the regional/brand lead in a timely manner.
Who You Are Required
● 2+ years of retail store management experience, preferably in a high-volume or fast-fashion/lifestyle environment.
● Proven track record of leading teams, meeting sales targets, and delivering excellent customer service.
● Fluent in English; professional verbal and written communication skills.
● Eligible to work in the United States.
● Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
Preferred
● Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) — highly valued for serving our diverse customer base and communicating with the broader team.
● Experience with retail, character merchandise, plush, lifestyle goods, or IP-brand environments.
● Familiarity with new-store opening, pop-up, or mall-based retail operations.
● Hands-on, energetic leadership style with a passion for building teams from the ground up.
