Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, including transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Repair and maintain vehicle suspension systems, steering components, and alignment to ensure optimal handling and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools to execute repairs with precision.
- Service vehicle transmission systems, perform wheel alignments, and address vehicle maintenance needs to extend the lifespan of each vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics software and understanding of automotive wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software.
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and repair is a plus.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
