Overview
Join our team as a Junior Panel Technician and help manufacture high-quality insulated panel systems in a modern, automated production facility.
This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and take pride in a hard day's work. We can teach the manufacturing process; we cannot teach work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production equipment and workstations
- Safely handle raw materials and finished insulated panels
- Operate saws and other production equipment accurately and safely
- Perform measuring, cutting, and material handling tasks
- Make basic mechanical adjustments and assist with equipment troubleshooting
- Monitor automated PLC-controlled production systems
- Support packaging, loading, and shipping operations
- Maintain quality, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Remain productive during downtime by assisting with cleanup, maintenance, inventory, and other production needs
- Work with your team to meet daily production goals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift in an active manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently
- Ability to safely handle larger materials with assistance and mechanical lifting equipment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay busy throughout the workday
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Experience operating saws or other cutting equipment
- Construction, fabrication, mechanical, manufacturing, or other hands-on work experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Forklift, skid steer, loader, or telehandler experience is an asset
- Experience working around automated equipment or industrial chemicals is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
