Position Summary
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team and provide day-to-day technical support to employees across our organization and affiliated brands.
This is an entry-level to junior IT position ideal for someone with hands-on IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working with users, and keeping technology running smoothly. The IT Support Specialist will handle support tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain IT assets, and support routine IT operations including patching, backups, endpoint maintenance, and system documentation.
The ideal candidate is technically curious, dependable, organized, and comfortable working directly with employees to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve internal IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, operating systems, applications, printers, peripherals, connectivity, and other common IT issues.
- Provide remote and hands-on technical support to employees.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup, accounts, permissions, and equipment.
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, and other equipment.
- Assist with device provisioning, configuration, deployment, replacement, and retirement.
- Perform routine OS and application patching and help ensure endpoints remain updated.
- Monitor and assist with backup operations and basic recovery procedures.
- Support user accounts, password resets, access requests, and permissions.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 and other business applications used across the organization.
- Escalate security-related or more complex technical issues to senior IT, security, infrastructure, or other appropriate teams.
- Maintain clear ticket notes, technical documentation, asset records, and internal knowledge-base articles.
- Help identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to internal IT processes.
- Follow established IT and security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience: 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, internship, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA certification(s) (e.g., A+, Network+).
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, user accounts, email, and common business applications.
- Experience with ticketing/help desk systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Familiarity with endpoint management, software deployment, and patch management.
- Basic understanding of backup and recovery concepts.
- Experience with IT asset and inventory management.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar identity platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and endpoint security best practices.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
