Job Details:
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Shift: 12hrs Nights
Duration: 15 weeks
Scheduled Hours: 36/week
Pay rate for traveler: $38/hr
Note: $1000completion bonus for 8 week contract.
No more than 2 call outs and no NCNS or the bonus will be voided.
Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and catheter care.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and medical imaging procedures.
- Manage acute pain and chronic condition treatments, including wound care, dressing changes, and pain management strategies.
- Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Support emergency response efforts by managing airway issues, ventilator use, first aid procedures, and triage assessments in urgent or trauma situations like Level I or Level II trauma centers.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in EMR/EHR systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
