Welder (AM & Night Shifts)
Location: Houston, TX 77447 (Hockley area)
Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00 / hour
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift (AM): 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
- 3rd Shift (Night): 4:30PM-3:30AM Monday-Friday
- Note: Overtime and Saturdays/weekends are required based on project needs. A $300 bonus is provided for working weekend shifts.
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Welders to join our production team. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to support various departments as production needs shift to keep operations running smoothly.
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding processes.
- Must be able to successfully pass a 3G weld test.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete fabrication tasks, maintaining high focus and attention to detail during repetitive assignments.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, attendance policies, and required PPE dress codes.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Industrial fabrication setting. Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions and a moderate manufacturing noise environment.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, crouch, kneel, balance, climb stairs, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent manual dexterity to manipulate small parts; visual and hearing competency to safely navigate a busy shop floor.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
