Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely
- Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and company requirements
- Meet with the Pastry Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
- Inspect the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment and supplies
- Check production schedule and par
- Establish priority items for the day
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to departmental standards.
- Attendance at CEP events as culinary/pastry support staff.
Experience
- 2+ years' experience in a pastry or baking role is preferred; culinary school training is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Experience in food preparation and production within a restaurant or catering setting is highly desirable.
- A background in customer service will enhance guest interactions and overall experience.
- Familiarity with various baking methods and equipment used in pastry production is beneficial.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long hours
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
