Overview
The Baptist Home in Ozark is a 30 bed Assisted Living and a 33 bed Skilled Facility. Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MDS Coordinator LPN/RN, where you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely completion of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the facility. Ensures timely, accurate, and complete assessment of the resident's health and functional status during the entire assessment period.
Responsibilities
- Complete accurate assessments, MDS & Care Plans
- Initiating Care Plans
- Care Plan Calendars each month timely
- Maintaining/Updating Care Plans.
- Monitor/audit clinical records
- Informing DON of persistant issues R/T Non Compliant Charting/Documentation
- Protecting Resident Information at all times
- Participates in Various Meetings: Medicare, QAPI, etc..
- Stay current with evolving healthcare regulations such as NCQA standards and HIPAA guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance across all documentation practices.
- Other responsibilites as assigned
Experience/Qualifications
- LPN/RN License
- MUST have Proven experience in MDS coordination within skilled nursing facilities
- Prior experience in utilization review/management or clinical documentation improvement programs is highly desirable.

Pay based on experience starting at $32/hour
