Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Pathology Assistant to join our team, providing essential services to our students. If you are experienced in working with children with Autism, developmental disabilities, and communication challenges, we would love to hear from you.
Part Time: 1 full day or 2 half days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services (Direct/Consultation/Assessments) for K-12 students.
- Collaborate effectively with Precious Hearts Academy's Interdisciplinary service team, school district personnel, and parents.
- Utilize Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and assistive technology to support students’ communication needs.
- Provide services according to IEP mandates (1 to 3 sessions per week per student).
- Provide parent education
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years + Experience treating individuals ages 5-22 with Autism and developmental disabilities and non-vocal communication development.
- Certification or experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and Assistive Technology (AT).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- ASHA certification (SLPA).
- California professional licensure.
- Clear Speech-Language Pathology Assistant services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Job Details:
- Supervision Provided by an SLP-CCC
- Variable IEP-mandated service levels (1-3 sessions per week per student).

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
