SouthWest Plumbing Supply in Cedar City is looking for a personable, reliable salesperson to run our landscape sprinkler counter and own the customer relationships that come with it. Base pay is $18–$26/hour depending on experience — and that's just the start. With overtime available and five separate ways to earn commission and bonuses, strong performers take home well above base. Add a company-paid cell phone and plan, and travel with our customer events (next contractor trip: Cabo San Lucas in February).
What you'll do:
- Be the go-to person for landscape sprinkler sales, helping both professional landscape contractors and do-it-yourself homeowners get the right system and the right parts
- Guide homeowners through simple yard measurements, hand the project to our dedicated sprinkler design team, then follow up and close the sale — no design skills needed, we have designers for that
- Build lasting relationships with contractor accounts so they call you first — you earn commission on the professional accounts assigned to you
- Run sales tickets at the counter and keep customers coming back
- Spot opportunities on surplus items — there's extra incentive pay when you move them
How you get paid:
- $18–$26/hour base (negotiable for the right experience) plus overtime opportunity

Who we're looking for:
- Solid supply house, counter sales, or retail sales experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of sprinkler/irrigation systems is a real plus — but we'll teach the products to the right person with the right attitude
- Personable and dependable — the kind of person contractors trust and homeowners ask for by name
- Organized enough to coordinate measurements, designs, quotes, and follow-ups without letting anything slip
- Comfortable closing a sale and asking for the business
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday with an occasional part-day Saturday, 38–55 hours per week depending on season.
