Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Marking Up Bids and Quotes Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and finalizing bids and quotes to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company strategies. Your proactive approach will help us secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients. Duties
- Review incoming bids and quotes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
- Adjust pricing, terms, and conditions to align with strategic goals while remaining competitive in the market
- Collaborate with sales teams, technical experts, and management to refine proposals and enhance value propositions
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track bid status, update records, and generate reports
- Conduct negotiations with clients or partners to clarify terms, address concerns, and secure favorable outcomes
- Prepare detailed documentation of bid modifications and communicate updates effectively across teams
- Support business development efforts through outbound calls and warm calling initiatives to follow up on submitted quotes and explore new opportunities
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively
- Experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or technical sales environments
- Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer interactions
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of telemarketing techniques and outbound calling strategies
- Ability to handle customer service inquiries professionally while supporting sales objectives
- Familiarity with marketing principles to craft compelling proposals and quotes
- Demonstrated ability in inside sales, business development, or outbound outreach efforts
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales automation tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in preparing accurate bid documentation
