We are currently seeking to DIRECT HIRE 1 Full Time Weld Cell Technician for our 1st Shift, Hours 4:30am-1:00pm, Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday overtime. We are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids and we are on the bus line.
Who are You?
You have a passion for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical problems. You are seeking a Full Time, Direct Hire, Long Term Technician position with a minimum 5 day work week, Monday thru Friday with occasional overtime on Saturday. The starting pay for this position is $30.00/hour.
The job description includes, but is not limited to:
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc Robotics
- Maintain/repair robotic and welding equipment
- Check completed parts to ensure compliance with required standards
- Assure ISO/TS 14969 procedures are followed; assist in CAR's and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop new additive manufacturing procedures
- Identify/perform correct robotic welding parameters, procedures, and programs
- Make recommendations on general part designs
- Operate/observe robots to detect malfunctions or nonconformance
Perform excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Use a measuring tape and variable gauges.
