The Opportunity
We are seeking an Inside Counter Sales Associate to support our established and growing customer base through industrial sales and customer service. This is not a retail sales position. This high-impact role focuses on insides sales customer service and support, product knowledge, order processing, and helping customers get what they need when they need it.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, accurate, and dependable customer service
- Assist customers with product selection and sales support
- Learn and navigate STS's sales and order processing system
- Process customer requests and orders accurately
- Communicate with customers and team members regarding products, orders, and delivery commitments
- Perform basic computer and internet-based functions
- Use Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Follow established sales and operating procedures
- Work with team members to solve customer problems and improve processes
- Develop knowledge of industrial products, applications, and customer requirements
- Participate in company-provided training

Preferred Qualifications
- PVF (Pipes, Valves, and Fittings), fasteners, and/or gaskets knowledge
- Experience with industrial sales or industrial supply
Compensation
- Pay starting at $18 per hour
- Quarterly performance bonus (based on individual, team, and company performance)
