Franklin County Rehab Center is a 64 bed skilled nursing facility seeking a compassionate, patient, tactful, and most of all a fun individual to join our Enrichment Department.
This is a full-time position with day shift available and an every other weekend commitment. Day shift hours are 7am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities of this position include:
· Assisting the director in providing life enrichment programs and activities to maintain the highest quality of life for residents, building and maintaining their interpersonal relationships, social skills, and confidence in group activities
· Assists in the activity calendar planning and coordination of activities
· Takes initiative to engage with residents to identify their interests and abilities to help encourage attendance in programs
· Collaborate with other staff members to plan and generate ideas to improve the activities program
· Facilitates group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner assisting residents in need
· Participate in assisting floor LNAs as needed
· Participate in breakfast restaurant and serving during mealtimes
· Assist in therapeutic programs such as music and memory and aromatherapy
Requirements of this position include:
· Current and valid LNA license
· Must pass criminal, and child / adult abuse background checks
