Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality eyelash extension applications tailored to each client’s eye shape and style preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations on lash styles and treatments
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and industry best practices
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY
- Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure long-lasting results and customer satisfaction
- Promote retail sales of lash care products, skincare, and other beauty essentials through upselling techniques
- Assist with social media management by sharing before-and-after photos, engaging with followers, and promoting special offers
Skills
- Certification in eyelash extensions from an accredited program; cosmetology license preferred
- Strong management skills to handle appointments, inventory, and client records effectively
- Proficiency with salon management software including Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client tracking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport quickly
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols, body waxing, dermal fillers, dermabrasion, and other esthetic treatments is a plus
- Experience with social media management to grow the salon’s online presence and attract new clients
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Familiarity with retail sales strategies, makeup application, hair styling, nail care, and other beauty services enhances versatility
