Heavy Truck Mechanic/Technician
Hours: Full Time Night Shift - Starting around 3pm, Mon-Fri
Pay: Full Hourly Rate – Starting at $30; Higher dependent on experience
Location: Tacoma, WA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintaining heavy truck & trailer fleet which includes dump truck & trailers, pneumatic tanker trailers, side dumps, lowboys, belt trailers and more
- Perform major repairs and troubleshooting on lights, brakes, suspensions, & drivetrain systems
- Utilize software tools including INSITE & JPRO to diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of truck & trailer related issues
- Starting each day at our Tacoma truck shop
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have own tools
- At least 2 year experience with heavy truck maintenance
- INSITE & JPRO software experience beneficial
- Reliable transportation to Tacoma shop
- Must pass a drug test
- Be able to listen, follow directions, and communicate with manager, co-workers, and other mechanics.
