Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Representative to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences, managing front desk operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction at our resort or hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, hospitality management knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline operations. We are looking for someone that has a FLEXIBLE schedule and being able to work weekends and holidays is a MUST.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservations efficiently
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Assist with night audit procedures when necessary to ensure financial accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet guest needs promptly
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure excellent guest relations at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle night audit procedures when required
- Experience in resort or hotel environments preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
