We are a growing commercial painting company based in Richmond, Virginia, committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Commercial Sales Associate to help build relationships with new clients and grow our commercial portfolio.
Position Summary
The Commercial Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with property managers, general contractors, facility managers, and business owners, and helping grow our commercial painting division. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys networking, developing client relationships, and contributing to a growing company.
Previous commercial sales experience and knowledge of the painting industry are a plus, but they are not required. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, property managers, facility managers, and business owners
- Schedule meetings and conduct site visits with prospective clients
- Follow up on leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Represent the company professionally at networking events and client meetings
- Meet or exceed sales goals
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Previous commercial sales or painting industry experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or CRM software are helpful

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
