About the Role
As a Manufacturing Shift Lead, you will serve as a pivotal member of our plant leadership team, driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of high performance. You will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and developing a cohesive team to meet our ambitious manufacturing goals.
Responsibilities-
Direct and optimize shift operations to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and meet production schedules.

Mentor and develop hourly staff, promoting a culture of accountability, inclusion, and professional growth.

Lead incident investigations and maintain a proactive safety environment, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.

Uphold rigorous food safety and quality standards, including GMP and SQF compliance, through regular audits and team coaching.

Analyze production data and downtime metrics to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate labor resources and scheduling to ensure seamless continuity between production shifts.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

At least 3 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume operations.

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering.

Formal training or certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.

Prior experience working within SQF-certified or regulated food packaging environments.

Strong background in root cause analysis and operational excellence programs.
