Under general supervision performs a variety of professional accounting work; compiles, prepares, and maintains financial data and records ensuring that all financial data are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and consistent with established policy and procedures.
- Performs professional accounting work in accordance with prescribed accounting system and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Establishes and maintains accounts.
- Prepares daily journal entries and accounting corrections to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
- Review bank accounts movements
- Prepare daily bank accounts reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile the bridges accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare the reconciliation of deposit accounts and time deposits with subsidiary and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare “Rollforward” for time deposits
- Register the purchase and sale of investment (bank portfolio and custody)
- Register the interest and dividend of investment
- Accounts payable, including payment of invoices
- Prepare the preliminary 480 forms
- Perform all the accounting related to debit and credit card
- Prepare audit confirmations
