BLVD Residential is a growing multifamily property management company committed to creating exceptional communities for our residents. We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Groundskeeper/Porter to join our team in Reno, Nevada.
This position plays a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, curb appeal, and appearance of the community while supporting the property management team in providing an outstanding resident experience.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, including common areas, amenities, leasing office, laundry facilities, and vacant apartment homes.
- Perform daily property walks to remove litter, debris, and other hazards.
- Clean and maintain trash enclosures and waste collection areas.
- Assist with light maintenance duties as assigned.
- Ensure community grounds are clean, attractive, and well-maintained at all times.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products according to company policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property issues to management.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of groundskeeping, housekeeping, janitorial, porter, custodial, or related experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, crouching, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
