Do you love to cook, discover great kitchen tools, and help people find the perfect thing for their kitchen? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, personable Sales Associate to join The Culinary Collective team!
We are a locally owned kitchenware store and teaching kitchen built around a love of cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion and enjoys making every customer’s experience a great one.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service
- Help customers find the right cookware, bakeware, knives, gadgets, small appliances, and other kitchen essentials
- Learn about our products and share your knowledge and enthusiasm with customers
- Assist with merchandising, stocking, inventory, and keeping the store looking fabulous
- Operate our point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
- Support store events, demonstrations, classes, and special promotions
- Operate register for customer sales
- Help create a fun, welcoming environment for our customers and community
- Work as part of a small, energetic team where everyone pitches in
What We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are genuinely passionate about cooking, food, and the kitchen
- Love kitchen gadgets and enjoy discovering how things work
- Have retail or customer service experience (preferred, but not required)
- Have knowledge of cookware, knives, bakeware, small appliances, or other kitchen products (a big plus!)
- Are outgoing, friendly, and comfortable talking with all kinds of people
- Enjoy helping customers find solutions rather than simply making a sale
- Are dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Have a positive attitude and are willing to jump in wherever needed
- Are comfortable learning new products, brands, and technology
- Can work both weekdays and weekends
Schedule
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that includes both weekday and weekend shifts.
Holiday Opportunity: Hours may increase significantly during the holiday season, with the potential for full-time hours for the right candidate.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
