Retail Operations Associate
Axolotl Arms is hiring a full-time Retail Operations Associate to support daily store operations, firearm sales, customer service, register coverage, inventory tasks, and order fulfillment.
This role is ideal for someone reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced firearms retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional in-store customer service
- Complete sales transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Operate the register and handle cash/card payments accurately
- Assist with firearm check procedures
- Answer customer questions in person and by phone
- Help receive, organize, label, and restock inventory
- Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
- Assist with online order picking, packing, and fulfillment as needed
- Follow all store policies, safety procedures, ATF requirements, and applicable laws
- Support daily opening, closing, and general store operations
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be legally eligible to handle firearms
- Firearm knowledge required
- Retail, customer service, or
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic software
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Weekend availability required
