Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of deli items including slicing meats and cheeses as well as assembling sandwiches and salads with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about products, and assisting with their selections to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food display areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock deli products as needed and monitor inventory levels
- Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or working in quick service & fast-food restaurants is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving serving or cashiering is a plus
Available shifts: Part-Time afternoon shifts (3pm-8:30pm)
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
